Choir/Bell Choir Director

My name is Donna Hetrick and I’ve played bells since age 15 and have continued playing throughout my life until my husband and I retired from the military.  We then bought our first home, which we are still in, and started going to Faith United Church of Christ.  There I played with their bell choir until the director retired.  She took about 2 years training me when I didn't even know that is what she was doing. When it was her time to leave, she said “my replacement will be Donna.”  Surprised!  Yes I was.  That is when became a director.  I directed that choir for 10 years.  After 18 years at Faith we move to Mt Calvary. They heard I was a director and asked me I said yes and then started the Mt. Calvary Ringers.  I love what I do.  Music has always been a big part of my life as I also play the violin and some piano.  I also like to sing and am active in our Senior Choir.

While playing bells I worked for the Pennsylvania state police and the House of Representatives for 30 years.  I am married with 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
