Children's Ministry

Welcome to the Mt. Calvary Children's Ministry page! Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by: building relationships with them, being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word.

 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Every summer, Mt. Calvary offers an awesome VBS for toddlers all the way up to 5th grade. Each year we're blessed to serve nearly 100 kids from our community and we'd love to have your kiddos be a part of this program as well!

 

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL

We have Sunday school for our Elementary age kiddos every Sunday during the school year. 

 

CHILDREN'S TIME

Every Sunday, our Pastor shares a special message with the children of our Church. 

 

MISSIONS

Throughout the year we think it's so important for the children to have the experience of missional work. Some of these experiences include packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, putting together kits during an annual Night of Giving, and collecting money for a charitable organization during VBS.

 

OUTINGS

Our children's ministry takes 2-3 special outings a year. This could be anything from Bowling to a trip to the movies to a round of mini golf and more!

 

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PLAY

One of the biggest events for the Children's Ministry each year is our annual Christmas Play. All of the kiddos are invited to take part in the production and then perform in front of our church the last Sunday before Christmas!

 

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY

Every February our Mt. Calvary Children lead worship for a special Children's Sunday. We believe it's important for the littlest in our church to play the biggest part in worshiping our Savior!

 

SAFETY

All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition all teacher helpers must attend training.
