Missions
One of the foundational qualities of Mt. Calvary is our work in Missions. We support different programs locally as well as around the world.
Local Collections
We are very active in collecting for local missions. These include things like a monthly collection for the Lifepoint Food Pantry, plastic bags to be converted to a park bench, plastic cutlery sets for Bethesda Mission, as well as many short-term collections throughout the year.
Mission Trips
Every year Mt. Calvary takes two adult mission trips to natural disaster response areas as well as one youth mission trip to Williamsport, PA.
Wonders Found
Wonders Found Thrift Shop was established as a ministry of Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church. Our sole purpose is to provide funding for mission projects. All money earned, after shop operational costs are paid, is specifically designated to missions near and far.
